Activity Plans
The Marketing Activity Plan provides the guidelines for timing your activities, and the framework for each activity.
Timing of activities is very important as a badly timed marketing activity will be nothing more than a waste of money. Activities can be timed around any number of events from general calendar events such as holidays to industry specific significant times. The consultation process will determine the timings for your activities.
The Activity Summary is the guideline/framework for each activity. It is this document that tells you how to complete the activity, why, what is needed, and how you know when you are successful. The financial details are also included in this document as it is important each activity is analysed fully upon it's completion - and actual costs and returns are an important part of this assessment. It is the assessment of an activity post-event that allows you to learn what works and what doesn't work for your target market this continually growing your understanding of your customers and how to best market to them.
